Driving, loose control of car- fly off freeway- car hits ground- I fly out in seat up and go really high. I ask Siri to call Nathan. I can barely hear him- I tell him I was in an accident and was ejected, but hadn’t landed yet. As I start descending I come out of the seat. I start trying to tuck and roll. It helps when I land. I lay there for a bit unable to move. Someone comes to help- I ask them to call 911. They do and leave me. I lay there for a long time. My left arm is broken, but I’m able to get up. I start trying to find help. I see an ambulance- but they never stop. I find a pay phone and try dialing 911. I don’t have my phone I lost it when falling. I find a doctors office- but they are busy. I tell them what happened and to please help. They seem sympathetic but only offer me checks. I leave. I end up on a bus. Then dream changes.
Dreams about driving often symbolize the direction you are taking in your life. Losing control of the car can indicate feelings of being overwhelmed, anxious, or uncertain about the path ahead. The act of flying off the freeway can reflect a fear of losing control or taking a path that feels reckless or unpredictable.
The moment when you are ejected from the car and fly high may represent a feeling of being suddenly freed from a situation, but it’s also terrifying because it suggests a lack of stability and control. Asking Siri to call Nathan could symbolize seeking support from someone you trust in a time of distress; Nathan may represent someone in your life who offers you guidance or comfort.
Your descent and attempt to tuck and roll suggest a desire to manage the consequences of a difficult situation. It could indicate resilience—a coping strategy—to deal with adverse circumstances. The inability to move after landing reflects feelings of vulnerability or being immobilized by fear or anxiety, while your left arm being broken might symbolize a part of yourself that feels damaged or incapable of functioning fully, possibly linked to creativity, expression, or independence (as the left side is often associated with these traits).
The search for help and the frustration of not receiving it could highlight feelings of isolation or helplessness in your waking life. The encounter with medical professionals who offer checks instead of actual assistance may symbolize disappointment in seeking support or feeling as though your needs are not being met.
The final transition to being on a bus may signify a shift in your situation or perspective, possibly indicating a desire to move forward or change direction, but also could symbolize a feeling of being transported without control over the journey.
Overall, this dream seems to express themes of anxiety about control, vulnerability, seeking help, and the frustration that can accompany those quests. It may be an invitation to reflect on aspects of your life where you feel out of control or unsupported and to consider steps you might take to regain stability and seek the help you need.
